What About Ethics in Advertising In Political Campaigns?

Corporations and companies know that if they use false and misleading advertising that are consumer groups to put on the bad list. Customers can go online and close the business using viral marketing techniques to destroy the brand.

If the company goes over the invisible threshold and enough consumers complain to their competitors or call their congressmen to contact the FTC, Federal Trade Commission will come after them like an avalanche of bricks. All of these scenarios is the death nail for a brand or company.

Surprisingly, we see false and misleading advertising by politicians all the time, is a fact and do not even think twice. Why? If a company did, that is facing a class-action lawsuits from customers, libel suits from competitors and regulatory problems.
